With its Gardens that ‘appear to be built to host performances’

and a scenic architectural layout, Palazzo Pfanner often drew the attention of great film directors, to set their works in this privileged stage. With their art, Luigi Magni, Mario Monicelli, Jane Champion and Peter Greenaway enhanced the architecture of a noble mansion, designed to amaze its guests and visitors.

With their intense interpretations, actors such as Ugo Tognazzi, Vittorio Mezzogiorno, Alberto Sordi, Paolo Stoppa, Nicole Kidman, John Malkovich, Dustin Hoffman and Helen Hunt – just to mention a few – helped to relive its former glory and set the images of such a historic and charming building in collective memory.
